Claire Gilbert: What is a good death?

In episode 4 of our fifth season of Questions of our Times, we talk with Dr Claire Gilbert, theologian and ethicist, and author of Miles to Go Before I Sleep, about her experience of cancer, and about the difficult questions raised by end-of-life issues.

Claire Gilbert founded or co-founded five institutions that interpret and speak ethics into everyday life. She was formerly a policy adviser in medical ethics on the Archbishops’ Council of the Church of England, and a member of the BMA’s Medical Ethics Committee.
