How can philosophy help me to know that God exists?

In episode 2 of our sixth season of Questions of our Times, we talk with Dr Joshua Sijuwade, teaching fellow in philosophy at the University of Birmingham, about how philosophy can help us explore the question of whether God exists, and what reason can tell us about faith.

Joshua is a theologian and a philosopher, whose research interests lie in the areas of the philosophy of religion, analytic theology and metaphysics. He taught theology and philosophy at a London secondary school, and is now a teaching fellow at the University of Birmingham. He is the author of The Rationalist Ontological Argument.

This interview, hosted by Nigel Bovey, was broadcast live on Premier Christian Radio on 3 November 2026.
